'Glass Wing Butterfly' - Sexual Identity - YAK - Family Planning Victoria - Melbourne 2007

Family Planning Victoria was funded by the City of Melbourne to produce a photographic arts project using the ideas of the 'YAK' group members about what it is like to be young and same sex-attracted in Melbourne in 2007.  The young YAK members were encouraged to explore their lives by using visual images to convey ideas and feelings. The participants experimented with a digital camera to develop their ideas, personal understandings and skills.

This photographic project also provided the participants with an opportunity to organise an exhibition for the 2008 Midsumma Festival.
